I dream of sinking into the sheet of water that is you
Sinking quietly as you pleasantly gulp me in--the stone
Until winds of tomorrow make waves in your mind
and you tumble me around to eddies of your moods;
And while I hone my healthy gleam as I dream of your caress,
one night,
you cast me on the finer grains of sand and pebbles,
in the land where so many others before me have befallen the same fate.
And I spend an eternity preening the lines you have left on my body and echoing a million times in my consciousness, the sound of your muted gulp
And I dream of sinking in your sheet of calm.
Kothakoli-came from 'Kolikar kotha', in an effort to log the monologue-ous conversations that rage in conundrum, the arguments and questions that rumble inside to make me, 'me'. Kothakoli strives to stay true to the name: a dance, an exotic, challenging, colorful, beautiful dance. Somewhat like life itself.
